Seminole Gulf short line from Arcadia since 1988

The only rail lines still remaining at Arcadia are the former SAL route north to Mulberry and the former ACL route south to Naples.

The following 2-part simplified map shows the route of the Seminole Gulf Railway (blue line) from Arcadia, where it connects with CSX (red line) at the former SAL line, to the Caloosahatchee River area (left map portion) and on to the Naples terminus (right map portion).

The line was taken over from the CSX by the Seminole Gulf in 1988, and is used at various times by either freight trains or excursion trains.
